November, 2013 – Mary E. Hodges recently joined the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis’s Tax Section Steering Committee. Ms. Hodges earned her LLM from Washington University in 2011 where she received the Highest Grade Award in Federal Estate and Gift taxation. Ms. Hodges is currently developing a CLE class as a way to update attorneys in tax matters for 2014. The CLE, 2014 Tax Update, is scheduled for January 15, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the BAMSL Bar Center (Classroom 555 Washington Ave, Suite 100 Saint Louis, Missouri, 63101) This program will discuss updates or changes in tax law in the following subjects: corporate and partnership income tax; trusts and estates; taxes affected by the Affordable Care Act; retirement planning; and Tax Controversy.
