On Monday, April 23rd, the St. Louis legal community lost a legend. Burton "Burt" Shostak passed away at the age of 82 surrounded by family. Burt worked with Cosgrove Law Group, LLC as Of Counsel for the two years prior to his retirement late last year. Burt's obituary, awards, and respect in the legal community reveal the type of attorney he was. Just going to lunch or the courthouse with Burt could be as entertaining as following a celebrity. Burt seemed to know everyone in the St. Louis legal community . We were blessed to have known Burt for so long and to have him work with us recently. He will be dearly missed.
