CLG recently defeated a Temporary Restraining Order not allowing our client to work in the roofing industry. The TRO, filed by our client's former employer, John Beal, Inc., in St. Louis County, disallowed our client to work in a geographical radius so large it would have effectively put him out of business. The legal arguments our firm made successfully articulated the overreach of the TRO. TRO's related to non-compete agreements are increasingly common and can be harmful to individuals who seek to strike out on their own or change employers to better their career.
